The first aerospace generation of entrepreneurs and directors in Queretaro (General Electric, Safran Group, ITR, Bombardier and Aernnova) create an innovative sector to impulse business in the region. Nowadays, Queretaro constitutes a powerful attraction at an international level with its synergy and competitiveness with more than 80 associates in FEMIA (Mexican Federation of The Aerospace industry) and presenting 11% growth in its exports in 2018 compared to the previous year.
“Industrial policies have long-range and, in comparison with past decades as the 70’s, when industry relied on subsidies, now the vision is combine elements to have an economy open to foreign trade, where three fundamentals must prevail: innovation, inclusion and diversification, in order to promote a healthy economic competition» said Ernesto Acevedo Fernández, undersecretary of Industry and Commerce of the Ministry of Economy.
This October 3 and 4, the Ministry of Economy in collaboration with the CCE (Business Coordinating Council), INDEX (National Council of the Manufacturing Export Industry) and CONCAMIN (Confederation of Industrial Chambers) convene the First B2B Meeting of Automotive- Auto parts, Aerospace and Electrical-Electronic Sectors. This meeting will be a start to a new industry policy in Mexico, in order to impulse these industries and offer new services to customers around the world.
